Who carry out the visits?
A regular programme of estate visits has been organised to ensure that we are fully aware of what needs to be done on estates.
Ward Councillors and local residents have for many years been invited to accompany Housing Officers on these inspections of the estates. Officers from our Street Scene Team may also attend these inspections.

Why don't you come along on the visits and have your say, you can help to make the community you live in better by pointing out what needs doing on the estates. Although there are some bigger jobs that it may not be possible to put right immediately, due to finance or work involved, many of the minor repairs will be done. Larger repairs can be programmed to be done at a future date. These can make a significant difference to the appearance of your estate.
And the best thing about the regular visits is that if the jobs haven't been done by the time of the next visit you can ask why not.
