Tenants Services Authority (TSA)
Your chance to have your say about standards in Social Housing
What is TSA?
The Tenant Services Authority is the new independent regulator for social housing and over the last few months in partnership with housing providers the TSA has been carrying out a series of consultation exercises.
The purpose of the consultations, or ‘conversations’ as they are being called, is to get tenants to draw up a list of standards for all social housing landlords.
Darlington’s tenants and leaseholders have taken part in 7 of these local conversations, 2 of them in partnership with other local housing organisations.
Results of the ‘conversations’ that took place across England are now available on the Tenant Services Authority web site [external link].

Landlord Comparator Tool Launched
The tool allows tenants to enter their postcode and find social housing landlords in their area. They can also compare the average rent level of housing associations locally and tenant satisfaction overall and with involvement opportunities and repairs. The data presented is drawn from information supplied by landlords, through our register of landlords and the Regulatory Statistical Return. The tool can be found on the TSA’s website [external link], under Find and Compare Landlords (top-right hand corner of the screen):
