Temporary Accommodation
A small number of our houses are available for use as temporary accommodation for those in urgent need of accommodation whilst more permanent homes are found. We try not to use Bed and Breakfast and hostel accommodation wherever possible, however this is sometimes unavoidable. It may be necessary to use placements outside the Town and although we are not able to pay for travel arrangements our Advisors will give details of where help with travel costs can be found.
Rent/Charges
Rent and accommodation charges will have to be paid for temporary accommodation and may be requested in advance. Our Housing Benefits Service may be able to pay the rent or a part of it.
