We can give advice on Council housing, housing provided by Registered Social Landlords or low cost home ownership and private accommodation.

You can give information to you if you want to move to a new home because of age or frailty.
Support to become a housing tenant
We offer a support scheme giving advice and guidance on budgeting, housekeeping and tenancy management both from the Council and other registered landlords.
Problems with your landlord?
We can give advice and negotiate with landlords if you have problems with your tenancy.
Wanting to leave home for the first time?
When leaving home for the first time our Housing Options Advisors will advice you of your choices, when accommodation is likely to be available and what steps you need to take to establish an independent home. Sometimes it is appropriate to move to a hostel or supported living scheme for a period of time before you get your own home.
Preventing Homelessness
We would encourage anyone threatened with homelessness to come to us as soon as possible. We can give advice and explore all options available. It is often possible to maintain your home. We will also make sure you are linked to legal support, welfare benefit and debt management advice services.
