The 700 Club provide specialist accommodation for young single people and supported housing for young mothers.

The Darlington YMCA provide accommodation and tailored support for young people within Darlington.

The Salvation Army provides furnished temporary accommodation for young people.

Grace Court

Grace Court is a joint initiative between Tees Valley and Darlington Borough Council.  It is designed for young parents or pregnant women aged between 16-25 years old to enable them to develop life skills to eventually live more independently in the community.

Private Landlords

Our Housing Options Advisors can help you look for a privately rented property.  They can also provide help and advise regarding any problems you may be having with your landlord.

Landlord Accreditation Scheme

Darlington Council has a Code of Standards that it expects private landlords to meet.  The Code includes standards of cleanliness, safety and management.  All landlords who meet the standards are Accredited Landlords.
