How to make Application

  • You can make a self-referral. Please speak to one of our Housing Support Officer or complete the referral form [word document]
  • If you are an existing Council tenant then your Management Officer can refer you to the Housing Support Team
  • A referral form can be completed by a social care or voluntary organisation in Darlington.
  • An assessment of needs will be carried out to find out how you would benefit from Housing Support.
  • Details of social and medical background, the reason for the referral and the support/care needed by you must be provided.
  • If accepted, you will be put on the waiting list and offered a place as quickly as possible.
