Qualifying Criteria
The Housing Support Scheme is open to all residents of Darlington where there are housing related support needs. If you feel you have support needs and would benefit from additional support you can contact the Housing Support Team yourself or through another agency for example, CAB, First Stop or Social Services.
You must meet the following conditions before you can be considered for the Housing Support Scheme.

1. Be aged over 16 years of age.

2. Live in the Darlington area.

3. Have no other significant input of support.

4. Have low-medium support needs.

5. Be prepared to co-operate with our Housing Support Worker in order to benefit from the Scheme and become more self-sufficient over a period of time.
You will not be considred for the scheme if:

In order to give the support that is needed the number of people our Officers can help at any one time is limited and therefore, if you are accepted onto the scheme, you may have to go onto a waiting list but you will be offered a place as quickly as possible.
