How Long Can I Stay on the Scheme?
The length of stay on the Scheme will vary according to the your individual circumstances. There is a maximum time of 2 years under Supporting People Rules.
Firstly, an assessment will be made of the your needs. This will involve a discussion with the you and other relevant people (for example: Community Psychiatric Nurse, Social Worker) to find the best ways to help you meet your needs. If, as a result, you are accepted onto the Housing Support Scheme, a plan of action will be made and agreed with you. Progress will be monitored and assessed and the plan will be reviewed at regular intervals.
