Darlington's Local Housing Market Assessment

A Local Housing Assessment has identified the following housing market needs in Darlington and presented information that:
  • Helps determine the scope and nature of future housing related services to local residents.
  • Helps guide the Council's approach to future affordable housing provision, particularly by providing advice on size, type and tenure.
  • Informs the type of housing and support needed for special needs groups.
  • Supports bids for resources to sustain the local housing markets and deliver appropriate provision of affordable homes.
