How Does it Work?
- A Lifeline give you the freedom to live independently
- The security of knowing whether you are young or old in good or poor health
- You can always get help when you need it
- A Lifeline is a small piece of equipment fitted close to your telephone and is supplied with a pendant
- You can carry this with you around the house and garden, by pressing it you will automatically make a call to the Darlington Control Centre.
- There is also a large red button on the Lifeline that you can press for help.
- Lifelines give peace of mind at the touch of a button.
Who Answers the Call?
Your call will be answered by one of our trained operators who will make sure that you receive the help you need straight away. In an emergency we can call upon Darlington's team of Lifeline Response Officers who will come to your assistance immediately and will have details of your relatives, friends, G.P. or neighbours who can be contacted should you need assistance.
How Much Does it Cost?
The Lifeline costs £4.37 per week.
