Lifeline
The Council offer a 24 hour, 7 day a week call service 365 days per year. Each flat has a Lifeline call system installed, which is linked, directly to the Scheme Manager's office or to our control centre when the Manager is off duty. Should you require help either the manager or the mobile wardens will attend.
What Does the Scheme Manager Do?

Help newcomers to settle in and explain how everything works

Make regular contact with each resident

Deal with emergencies

Encourage social activities

Report and monitor repairs and maintenance work

Assess needs and in consultation with the residents liaise with their families, statutory, voluntary and private agencies to ensure their needs are met

Co-ordinate and give advice, though not directly provide services, such as shopping, cleaning, cooking, personal and nursing care.

What Does the Management Officer Do?
A Management Officer deals with the letting and management of council properties. This covers such matters as repair and maintenance, adaptation, improvements and rent. Working in close liaison and partnership with residents, members and other sections and departments of the Council together with voluntary groups and other organisations.
