- All callers from anywhere in England and Wales are able to get free initial help from a qualified legal advisor in Welfare Benefits, Debt and Education.
- People eligible for Legal Aid can also reeive further free legal help with their case via phone and post. Calls will be answered between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm weekdays (people calling outside office hours can leave a message and will receive a call back)

Many people think that legal advice always comes at a high cost. However, the reality is that there are a large number of ways that you can get free or low cost advice.
Law Centres, advice agencies such as Citizen's Advice Bureaux (CAB), independent advice agencies and local authority services, offer most of their services free of charge.
