Yoga

Ceramics

Ever-popular course that is open to all abilities. Learn coil or slab pottery, or have a spin at the wheel. This course can get messy, so old clothes and an apron are recommended.

Reworking the Digital Image

A Closer Look at Watercolours

Well known for his broad landscapes and skies, Paul is also interested in the detail of the British countryside, this course will use watercolour techniques to take a closer look at what is growing in our woods, fields and hedgerows throughout the year.

Life Drawing & Painting

A course for beginners, students, artists and art teachers who are looking for the challenge of working from the model in different media. Bring your own 2B and 6B pencils, masking tape, eraser, sketch books and paper.
Stained Glass

Learn the skills of basic decorative glass work and make anything from a circular light catcher to full door or window panels. Participants will need a 75 watt soldering iron (call to confirm your place on the course before you buy any equipment) and a small contribution to the cost of materials may be required depending on the scale of work.
Jewellery Making For All

Get Moving - Dance for Fitness & Fun!!

Weaving

Shooting & Editing Techniques: Film-making

Learn how to use a camera and a computer to create your own videos. In this practical course you will learn how to use a variety of video cameras including our broadcast standard HD camera. You will also learn how to edit the videos you shoot with your newly acquired camera skills and how to then publish these edits to DVD and the internet.

Advanced Shooting and Editing Techniques is a follow-on course for people wanting to further the skills learned in the Shooting and Editing Techniques course. We will be using a Sony EX1 HD Camera for shooting and Final Cut Express/Pro for editing.
