Arguably the leading play facility in the area, our Soft Play area now includes brand new interactive features exclusive to the Dolphin Centre offering activity for children up to the age of 8.

Come and meet Pirate Pete and help the Mermaid Princess find Fin the Dolphin, who has been stolen by Slick and MC the mischievous sharks.  Along the way join in the challenge to see if you come across Pirate Pete's treasure.

Some of the key developments includes the improved toddler facilities for young children and babies and the larger spectator area that supports a comfortable environment and a happy social experience for both adult and children.  Sample our delicious menu [pdf document] available throughout the day.

The new area also includes a buggy park and purpose built changing facilities. 

The play area is open all week and supervised by qualified nursery staff.

Monday to Sunday, 10.00am - 6.00pm
Ages: 0 - 8 years

  • One-hour play
  • Babies under 6 months, free
    Under 12 months £1.00
    Over 12 months, £3.45

Crèche

The crèche allows you to use the Centre's facilities while your children are supervised by our qualified nursery staff.

Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 11.30am
Ages: 8 weeks to 4 years (pre-school children)

  • Supervised play, which includes: 
     - creative activities
     - interactive songs and stories

Private Playroom with Sensory Facilities

This room allows visitors to experience different light, sound and tactile sensations.  Our aim is to make this room available for use by all visitors of all ages. 

New play features include:

  • Sensory Bean Bag
  • Dodi Rocker 
  • Baby Ball Pool

The room is used as a crèche Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 11.30am, but can be hired out for private use outside of these times.
