Darlington Pub Watch currently has members covering the majority of pubs and night clubs in the town centre as well as pubs on the outskirts of the Town. Meetings are held monthly and attended by Licensees, Police and Council Representatives.

Early Intervention - Parenting Provision

Support, advice and guidance to parents/carers both for parents placed on Parenting Orders and voluntary. The service is offered to all parents/carers whose young people are involved within this service.  Parents are provided with the opportunity to build on their existing parenting skills, improve confidence, Drug awareness sessions, Fathers group and an after hours drop-in.  Part of the Darling Community Safety Partnership.

First Stop Darlington

First Stop Darlington provides an open access drop in centre which is neutral and safe. We will help people contact groups and agencies for advice and information relevant to their needs.  We also provide a 'Welcome Café', a "hone and dry" service (shower and laundry) and sessional advice on different subjects as and when it is needed.

Firthmoor On Track (Support for Families with Problems)

Firthmoor on Track is a support group set up by parents for families in Darlington experiencing problems within the family unit.  Problems dealt with include: drugs/alcohol/solvent misuse; gambling; anti-social behaviour; and teenage pregnancies.  If we can't help, we can refer or suggest an organisation which can.

Victim Support - Darlington Branch

The scheme aims to provide support information and advice to all victims of crime in Darlington and its surrounding villages.  The scheme also assists with criminal injuries compensation claims.  All services are FREE and confidential and help is given regardless of whether the crime is reported to the Police or not.
