Alarm monitoring service and business links

The control centre has been assessed by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) [external link] and as a result it is now a Category 2 Gold standard Alarm Receiving Centre for intruder alarms.

The service holds the following accreditations:

  • BS EN ISO 9001:2008
  • NSI SSQS 102
  • BS5979:2007

  • Linking their alarms to the Council’s monitoring centre.
  • Monitoring their CCTV cameras.
  • Supply, monitor and respond to lone worker devices.
  • Monitor any lifeline or dispersed alarm systems (for the vulnerable or elderly).
