Community Partnerships

Darlington has 11 Community Partnerships based in different areas of the Borough. People who live or work in those areas come together to tackle local issues working with a range of partners.

Community Safety Partnership

Darlington Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) works to ensure that Darlington continues to be a safe place to live and work.

GOLD

GOLD (Growing Older, Living in Darlington) is an organisation for older people and their families and friends in the Darlington area. It is supported by Darlington Borough Council and Darlington Primary Care Trust.

Social Inclusion and Equality

The Council's approach to inclusion is about working to improve the life chances of people who are at risk of disadvantage and discrimination

Talking Together

Talking Together is an initiative which gives people the chance to speak directly to senior councillors, council officers, and the police and health service providers, about issues affecting them.
