The online search & display facility for planning applications is available here:

The Display
By default, applications included in the display are those that have been validated within the last 7 days, until some search criteria are entered.
For each application, the following 'fields' are displayed: Application Number, Category, Proposal, Site Address, Applicant, Agent, Validation Date, Date of Last Update, Status/Decision, Case Officer, Ward and Parish.
The Data
The data displayed here is not 'live', but is only a copy of (part of) our main database, from which it is updated daily overnight. Only applications dating back as far as 1997 are included.
Searching
The applications database can be searched by specifying criteria such as address, postcode, date, proposal, type, ward, parish or application number. You may enter any appropriate combination of different criteria to narrow down the search.
Decision Details
Applications that have already been decided will include a link to the decision details. Clicking on this link displays the decision details for the selected application. Depending on the nature of the decision, these details will represent either the conditions on which the application was granted or the reasons for its refusal.
Please note that decision details do not appear on this system until after the Decision Notice has been issued. Consequently, decisions taken by Planning Committee are not displayed until a few days after the meeting.
Commenting on an Application
For applications that have not yet been decided, a facility is provided to allow your comments on the application to be submitted via an online form. If you wish to comment on a particular application, please read Commenting on an Application before proceeding.
Monitoring an Application's Progress
If you wish to be notified whenever a particular application is updated, please click on the "Notify me of changes" link. You will need to register to use this service.
You may select a single application by entering the application number. Alternatively, you may specify an address, proposal, type, ward, parish or postcode. You may make keep several selections active concurrently and cancel any of them at any time.
An email message will be sent to you whenever update occurs in any applications that you have specified.
If the criteria you have specified is anything other than a single application number, you will subsequently be notified whenever there is a new application that meets your criteria. This can be useful if you wish to monitor, for example, a particular street or a parish.
You are advised to try to avoid general selections that would result in you receiving large numbers of emails.
