At Darlington, we are looking at ways of increasing the efficiency of the Development Control Service. One goal is to seek to smooth out as many potential problems and issues at pre-application stage so that so far as possible development proposals are shaped into an acceptable form by the time the formal application is made. A rough plan is required. You may either use the back of the form for this or provide it on a separate sheet if you prefer. Alternatively, you can send in a letter or email identifying the work you wish to do, along with a sketch and location plan.
