Core Strategy

The Core Strategy will be the key, central overarching document in the new Local Development Framework.  It will set out the land use planning parts of the draft Sustainable Community Strategy, the Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy and the Climate Change Strategy.  It will include:

  • A spatial vision and strategic objectives for the Borough;
  • A spatial strategy;
  • Core policies; and
  • A monitoring and implementation framework.
      

Issues and Options 2008

The Core Strategy Issues and Options consultation was carried out between the 7th January 2008 and the 15th February 2008.  A total of 101 responses were received.

The Council report that summarises the consultation that has been undertaken and the consideration given to the responses can be viewed or downloaded here.  Please note that Officer comments can be viewed at the end of each issue.
