Statement of Community Involvement in Planning

Consultation Arrangements

The Council welcomes the Government’s guidelines that require councils to consult far more extensively than before, both in deciding what goes into planning policy documents and before making decisions on planning applications.  Councils must set out their proposals in a Statement of Community Involvement (SCI).
     

The Adopted SCI

On 17th November 2005, the Council adopted its finalised Statement of Community Involvement (SCI).  The Adopted SCI can be viewed or downloaded here:
