Future Uses of Former School Sites

CONSULTATIONS ON DRAFT PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT BRIEFS

The Council has recently undertaken public and other consultations on the following sites in its ownership, prior to disposing of them for redevelopment:

1. The former Albert Hill Nursery Site, Darlington;
2. The former Sadberge School site, Norton Crescent, Sadberge;
3. The former Springfield Primary School at Salters Lane South;
4. The former Beaumont Hill Schools sites at Glebe Road.

Details about each of these sites is available below.
 

The Former Beaumont Hill Schools Sites

The Council has prepared revised Planning and Development Briefs for these sites following the public consultation exercise.  The briefs, along with the Information & Consultation Leaflet and a summary of the comments received are available to view or download here:

The Former Springfield Primary School Site

The Council has prepared draft Planning and Development Briefs for this site and has invited comments on them.  The draft briefs, along with an Information & Consultation Leaflet and a summary of the comments received are available to view or download here:
