Bus Stop Locations

Since September 2005, buses passing through the town centre are now confined to a small number of streets. All of the buses travel in the same direction (with the exception of some of the Coniscliffe Road and Grange Road services). The majority of services enter the town centre via Northgate Roundabout and leave via Stonebridge. Buses to Middlesbrough and Aycliffe leave via East Street. Skerne Park buses leave via Feethams.
The majority of bus stops are in one of two clusters. The first is along part of Northgate, Crown Street and East Street. The second is along Tubwell Row and Prebend Row. The two exceptions are stops O and P, which are separate from the rest, at Feethams and Blackwellgate respectively.

Temporary Arrangements
Stop D is currently out of use. The 22 service to Minors Crescent will temporarily use Stop A in Northgate, outside Marks & Spencers. This new arrangement is illustrated in the following leaflet:
These changes came into effect on Sunday 10 June 2007 and will continue until further nortice.
