Fees are inclusive of certificates and customers should also note that for all venues other than the Backhouse Hall (the Register Office) fees for the hire of the ceremony venue may be charged by the venue and are not part of our fee to attend a ceremony.
The booking of a ceremony forms a legally binding contract with Darlington Borough Council. The terms and conditions of the booking are available from the Register Office and on this page. All fees must be paid in advance of the ceremony and all outstanding fees are those due at the time of payment and not at the time of booking.
