Woodburn Nursery

The plant Nursery was established in the 1980's with the principle aim to propagate plants for use by Darlington.

Today Woodburn Nursery provides in excess of 1.5million bedding plants per annum to 26 other authorities from Chester-Le-Street in the North to Telford in the south.  Over this time the Nursery has become self financing and has been accredited with BS EN ISO 9002 and 14001 for its quality and environmental systems and in 2005 achieved Charter Mark for its Customer care.
