Darlington Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership

Darlington CDRP is made up of a number of organisations, that meet at different levels to discuss particular issues and develop appropriate and innovative solutions

Darlington CDRP Member Agencies

A number of the agencies which work in the CDRP are required to do so by law, see the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, these are know as the 'responsible authorities' and senior members of their staff sit on the Executive Board.

Darlington Borough Council Including: Youth Offending Service (YOS), Adult Social Services, Children's Services, Youth Service, Housing, Anti-Social Behaviour Team, Street Scene and the Safer Communities Team which supports the work of the CDRP.

Durham Constabulary

Durham Police Authority

County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service

Darlington Primary Care Trust (PCT) including: Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT), and Substance Misuse Team.

As well as the statutory members, the Partnership engages with a wide range of organisations, including the voluntary sector, businesses and schools. Crime and Disorder is also a key theme for the Darlington Partnership, meaning the CDRP has access to an even wider range of partners.
