We want our tenants to enjoy living in their home and we recognise their rights to enjoy living as they choose as long as this does not make other tenants lives miserable.
We expect our tenants and their families to display consideration towards their neighbours and help to create caring and happy communities.
The Council acknowledges that everybody has the right to the quiet enjoyment of his/her home. By its actions, the Council will demonstrate that it will not tolerate any form of anti-social behaviour that affects its tenants, their families and their visitors.
If you are a Council tenant you are responsible under the terms of your Tenancy Agreement for the behaviour of your household, visitors and pets both at your address and in the locality.
Your tenancy could be placed at risk if these conditions are broken.
