Racial harassment is harassment suffered by a person because of their colour, race, nationality or ethnic origin.
We will not tolerate any form of racial harassment. Our Tenancy Agreement specifically forbids racist behaviour.
We will treat all reports of racial harassment seriously and take a victim centred approach in investigating such cases.
The definition of a racist incident adopted by the Council is:
‘Any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person’.
