Administration

We arrange real work experience for you at the Town Hall or in a local company so that you gain the skills needed to become qualified and pursue a career in Business and Administration. We use the Oxford, Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts (OCR) examining board and offer training in the following:

Entry to Employment

To gain a place on this course you will be 16 to 18 years of age and may have achieved lower than average grades at GCSE or for some reason you may not have taken any examinations and have no qualifications. As well as NVQ Level 1, you will be able to work towards Key Skills or Adult Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications.

Apprenticeship

To become an apprentice you will need to have achieved average GCSE results. You will work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration, Key Skills at Level 1 and 2 and a Technical Certificate at Level 2.

Advanced Apprenticeship

To become an advanced apprentice you need to have achieved good GCSE results, including English. You will then work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration, with Key Skills at Level 2 and a Technical Certificate at Level 3.
