You will assist with the rollout of the e.tendering and contract management system; assist in the implementation of the Councils’ Procurement Code of Practice and take the lead on a number of contracts. We’re looking for someone with at least three years’ experience in a multi-faceted organisation.

We are looking to appoint three Personal Advisers to work primarily in the Connexions One Stop Shop. You will be working with a range of partner organisations, including work based learning providers, voluntary organisations, health and social care, to provide a full range of information, advice and guidance services to young people accessing the one stop shop, enabling their participation in education employment and training opportunities and broker appropriate support services on their behalf.

You will need an understanding of the issues which impact on young people and should be flexible and creative in your approach in engaging with them.

We are ideally seeking individuals qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Information Advice and Guidance in the first instance, or hold a relevant practice based qualification in youth work or education at this level.

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are essential along with at least one year’s experience of working with teenagers.
