We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Personal Advisor to work within an multi - disciplinary area based team that provides a broad range of services to children and young people aged 0 -19 and their families to start with immediate effect.

Particular focus will be on working toward the NEET agenda, ensuring that vulnerable young people have access to education, training, and personal development opportunities. Undertake in depth careers guidance interviews, making referrals to appropriate partner agencies and supporting both benefit and housing applications to Job Centre Plus and through the Key Point of Access.

You will work closely with the Area Practice Social Care Team, Family Intensive Support Team, Youth Offending Service and secondary schools, particularly at key transitional stage to ensure that young people make informed decisions regards post 16 opportunities and are supported through a range of activities to successfully progress.

A sound knowledge and experience of the Common Assessment Framework, One plan and Education Health and Care processes are required. A dynamic approach to brokering services, advocating on behalf of young people whilst being able to demonstrate creative co - ordinated approaches through multi-disciplinary working is required.
