The Trust is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person to provide administrative support to the Governors and Directors of the Academy Trust. The main duties and responsibilities include providing procedural advice, attendance at all Trust, governing body and committee meetings, preparation of agenda, minute taking, distribution of information, maintaining files and records of correspondence and documents in line with the Memorandum and Articles of Association. As such, maintaining an up to date knowledge of the relevant legislation will be an essential requirement of the post. The successful applicant must be computer literate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Please note that as the majority of meetings are held in the evenings and at multiple sites you will need to adopt a flexible approach to your working hours.

An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term contract within the Life Stages Service. The post will be based within the Adults with a Learning Disability 26+ Team.
The successful applicant will be working in a Social Care Coordinator role, with Adults with a Learning Disability aged 26 and over and with their carers/and or representatives. The post is based at Harewood House, Darlington.
You should be able to carry out high quality community care assessments for adults with a learning disability and their carers. In addition, long term care management of service users with complex needs will be required.
You will be responsible for promoting the independence of adults with a learning disability in line with the social model of disability, promoting their independence and ensuring effective risk management. Cross-agency partnership working and experience in safeguarding is an essential part of the role.
You should hold a professional qualification in Health/Social care, i.e. DipSW, RGN, RMN, CSS, CQSW or equivalent. Knowledge and experience of working in a Health or Social Services setting is essential.
