Red Hall Community Partnership of one of a number of groups and organizations that work with local people on the Red Hall estate. The Partnership is a registered charity and was set up in 2001, and during this time has been very successful at attracting funding for activities and projects in the area. Members work together to develop a local action plan each year to list the changes people would like to see in their area and the latest Red Hall action plan [pdf document] can be viewed here:

The Partnership holds monthly meetings that are open to everyone who lives or works in the Red Hall area. These are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6pm in Red Hall Community Centre, Headingley Crescent, Darlington

Tea & Toast

The weekly Tea & Toast session at Red Hall Community Centre happens every week on a Thursday morning from 9.30 – 11 am and is open to everyone. This is always a good time to come along and meet up with other people, pop in to see the Citizens Advice Bureau, chat with the local beat officers, access the internet and share news, views and ideas for local projects with the community development worker.

Red Hall PACT

PACT stands for Partners and Communities Together and is a new way for local people and Police to work together on issues that concern people in their local area. The PACT discussions take place at the monthly Community Partnership meetings and are open to everyone. The group meets to discuss and agree the 3 issues that are causing the most concern in the area with the Police & PCSO’s and other local workers. These will be reviewed every month and residents can set new targets as needed

Red Hall Play Work Project

This busy project involves lots of play activities for 5 – 13 year olds after school and at weekends during term-time, and many successful play schemes during the school holidays.

Red Hall Tool Library

The Tool Library runs from the Community Centre in Headingley Cres and offers members the chance to hire a variety of DIY and gardening tools and equipment at low cost. Life Membership costs just £1.00

Red Hall Reveller

The Reveller is the community newsletter for the Red Hall area and is run and written by local residents themselves. Many organizations and groups contribute articles, photographs and ideas to the newsletter and there is always room for good news stories about the area, so if you have anything you would like to see in print about Red Hall please get in touch. The newsletter is there for everyone to use and enjoy.

Red Hall Three Way Meetings

The Community Partnership, Residents Association and the Community Centre Association hold a regular meeting every 3 months to share ideas, news and views about what everybody is involved in. These friendly meetings are open to everyone and often include an invited speaker.
