The Arts

The Civic Theatre and the Arts Centre host various shows throughout the year aimed at theatre-lovers of all ages.   

Darlington Arts centre holds a variety of holiday workshops for all ages and there are one-off shows from the country's top comedians, speakers and peformers throughout the year..

Railway Museum

Darlington is the birth place of the railway and is also home to Darlington Railway Museum which houses a large selection of rail memorabilia. Check out the exhibits and have a drink and something to eat in our cafe.

Other attractions

Darlington has a number of award-winning parks. South Park has re-opened after a multi-million pound regeneration and is now home to Darlington's first  skate-board park.
