
If you are between the ages of 14 and 19 years and you are attending school, college or work-based training in the Tees Valley - you are entitled to the best. Your LEARNER ENTITLEMENT is the work of the five Local Authorities, Connexions and the Learning and Skills Council in the Tees Valley. What this means is a commitment from everyone involved in your learning to:
- Help you enjoy your learning and to achieve as well as you can;
- Assist you in becoming an adult able to earn your living, stand on your own feet and pay your way;
- Help you to get involved in things going on around you; to be an active member of the place where you are learning and the community where you live;
- Support you in keeping fit and well, in body and mind, so that you can make the best of your learning opportunity and enjoy life;
- Help you to be safe and secure, to be able to take care of yourself and the people you live and learn with.
