Entry level courses are pre-GCSE courses available in academic and vocational subjects. Most courses at this level have units that can be studied separately or joined to make up a full award. They are often practically based and continually assessed.
Certificate of Educational Achievement
These are pre-GCSE qualification, particularly suitable for young people who may find traditional educational study difficult. They are offered in a variety of subjects and can lead on to level 1 courses. Practical work is a major part of each subject and you will be continuously assessed throughout the course. In certain subjects, a written exam will be held at the end of the course.
