PP Vote

James Gilbey delivering a PP Vote session

“ Darlington Youth Service step up the game when it comes to consulting with young people in Darlington.”

Darlington Youth service have bought a new tool to consult with young people, the system works on the same principals as ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ – Ask the Audience, Young People are able to use this system for a number of different occasions and for different kinds of consultation,

The Youth Service have recently used PP Vote to evaluate sessions and deliver issue based information.  The resource gets young people involved and keeps the sustained interest throughout the evaluation.

As this system seems to become more and more popular with staff and young people we are looking to do it on a bigger scale, maybe a town wide consultation…

PP Vote is a great youth work tool, It keeps young people engaged and provides a new opportunity to involve whole groups, as it is recorded through keypads, the whole system is unanimous and answers cannot be traced, It is a new and innovative way to consult with young people and is a great benefit to the service.

Each young person in the group is given an individual keypad, there is a maximum of 32 keypads, they are simple and easy to use.  They are numbered 1-10, and which ever answer you feel is correct, you push that button to vote,  The results are stored in graphs in numbers or percentages and you are able to adjust the graphs to suite your needs.

The system works on a Power Point presentation, and links through a USB connection.
