Darlington Safeguarding Children Board (DSCB)
How to make a Child Protection Referral
If at any time it is considered that a child in need as defined in the Children Act 1989, or that the child has suffered significant harm or is likely to do so, a referral should be made immediately to the Local Authority Children’s Social Care. This referral can be made by any professional. (Working Together 2015)
You can do this by telephoning the Childrens Access Point on 01325 406222 or complete the Darlington Children Services Referral form below and sending by secure email to firstname.lastname@example.org within one working day.
