
Families Information Service Darlington provides free, impartial information & advice on childcare & early years education for local children & young people to parents, carers, employers, childcare providers & workers.
Their aim is to provide a high quality, friendly & confidential service that provides accurate & impartial information, advice & support.
They will not endorse or recommend individual childcare types or providers. Instead by providing comprehensive information directly, supported by a range of leaflets, they allow you to make an informed decision on the most suitable childcare for you & your child. All calls to the Families Information Service are treated in confidence & they aim to provide any information within 24 hours of the enquiry.
The Families Information Service database holds information on:

They also provide the following information:
- advice for existing or potential new providers
