View planning applications online

View the list of applications validated week commencing 18 December 2017 [pdf document]

With our online system you can:

  • View planning applications
  • View planning decisions
  • View relevant plans and documents
    • Documents from applications before November 2010 are not available online. These documents can be viewed at the Customer Service Centre in the Town Hall (please make an appointment if you want to meet with the case officer for a specific application)

It is available 24 hours a day and you won’t need to travel to the planning office to find out what’s happening near you!

On 2nd January 2018 we are starting the final phase of a project to replace the software we use for residents to view and comment on Planning Applications.

To do this we have to export the data from the old system into the new, so during this time we can’t take online comments, however we will accept comments via email or by normal mail.

People can still view documents on the old system but wont be able to view any new documents received in 2018 until the work is complete.

The new Public Access site will go live on 18 January 2018. The user guide for the new system can be downloaded here [pdf document].

What if I don't have internet access or don't want to comment online?

There is a facility to use MyServices Planning on a dedicated computer that is located in the Reception Area in Customer Services in the Town Hall. You can also view planning application records in the Town Hall.

If you don't want to comment online, there are other ways you can comment on a planning application.
