Seeking Support for Mental Health Issues

Support for people in Darlington who require Mental Health Services is available from a wide range of organisations.

Community Mental Health Services

For those people who require support for their mental health needs, Adult Social Care, Health and other organisations will work closely together to ensure that they and their carers are able to live as safely and independently as possible in the community.

If you or someone you know has a mental health need or you are the carer for someone with a mental health need, you can request information, advice and support from the Darlington Community Intervention Teams.

In order to find out what support you need, an assessment will be carried out. You can find out more information about the assessment process
