The Dolphin Centre holds five conference rooms, each providing the customer with a variety of options for their conference needs.
We can accommodate from two to 450 people in range of set-ups, as well as providing equipment requirements and other requests.

We can host events for up to 1200 and can cater for up to 450 for a sit down meal.
Our Central Booking Team is based at the Dolphin Centre and they are happy to arrange to meet with you to discuss your event requirements further.
Below are some examples of equipment available. We work with specialist event companies and can access a wide range of equipment. We have an in-house technical team who are available to give any advice you may require.
We provide free WiFi in all conference rooms. To use the free WiFi service you must provide your own WiFi enabled Laptop; however we can still provide a projector if required.
All our rooms, apart from the Function Room, have a loop system installed. Please let us know your requirements when booking.
We also provide fantastic catering facilities, tailored to suit your needs with options from breakfasts and energiser buffets to three course meals.
The seminar room is located on the first floor of the Dolphin Centre and is fully accessible. The room is ideal for boardroom style meetings with a capacity of 34 people or 28 people allowing for disabled access. The room can also be set up theatre style with a maximum of 60 people. Presentation equipment; catering and refreshments are available on request.
Cost: £28.50 per hour.
The meeting room is located on the first floor of the Dolphin Centre, with a view of the historical St Cuthbert's Church. The room is fully accessible and can comfortably seat 14 people. Presentation equipment; catering and refreshments are available on request.

The function room is located on the ground floor. The room is fully accessible and can seat 20 boardroom style. Presentation equipment; catering and refreshments are available on request.
Cost: £20.00 per hour.
The Studio is located on the first floor over looking the market square and is bright and airy with plenty of natural light from the large windows. It can accommodate 70-80 in a cabaret style or can be set in boardroom or theatre style. Presentation equipment, catering and refreshments are available on request. Cost £38.50 per hour.
The Stephenson suite is also part of the Register Service and is used as a ceremony room for smaller weddings. The Stephenson Suite can hold a maximum of 40 people theatre style. Cost: £28.50 per hour.
Central hall is located on the second floor and is an elegant chandeliered ballroom, which is a fantastic venue for any large conferences or seminars. The Hall seats up to 200 cabaret style or 450 theatre style and includes, PA; loop system and presentation equipment if required.

We can provisionally reserve your booking for up to 14 days, after this time we will require a 25% deposit (or the full amount if under £100 to confirm the booking). Our Occasions team will arrange to meet with you as often as you require leading up to your occasion to confirm the finer details.
