Seniors Fitness Programme

Senior Membership (for over 60's)

For just £19 a month you can access our Active 4 Life Activity Programme, the Gym and Swimming Pool between 6.30am and 4pm.  Membership also includes our Get Results service. This 12-month support programme will include one-to-one sessions with the Centre's expert gym team to help you reach your goals.  For more information about Memberships, please visit our Fit4Life Page.

Senior Fitness Programme

Our over 50’s programme is packed with activity to keep everyone active and is suitable for all levels of fitness -even if you haven't exercised before.

Active 4 Life Activity Programme for Over 50's

Mondays

  • Keep Fit, 10.30am - 11.30am
    A fun-filled keep fit class with all of your favourite music.
  • Chair Aerobics, 11am - 12noon
    Low levelled chair based gentle exercise
  • Table Tennis, 2pm - 4pm
    Our table tennis session is unsupervised, but give us a call if it’s your first time and one of our activity leaders can introduce you to the session.

Tuesdays

  • Easyline Session, 11am - 12 noon
    Easyline uses specially designed equipment that aims to improve mobility.  It is great for developing muscular tone and benefits the heart and lungs.
  • Supervised Swim, 12 noon - 1pm
    Our supervised swim session is a great way to build fitness and meet new people.
  • Pilates, 12.30pm - 1.30pm
    Focusing on flexibility, strength and relaxation, this exercise class is designed to improve your posture and tone.
  • Classic Dancing, 2pm - 4pm
    A great mix of dance moves to get you active

Wednesdays

  • Multi Activity Club, 10am - 12 noon
    Join a morning of multi-activity with our instructor where you can enjoy badminton, table tennis and gentle exercise with friends.
  • Keep Fit, 1pm - 2pm

Thursdays

  • Tea Dance, 2pm - 4pm
  • Join in our popular tea dance organised by Age UK.
