There are Wednesday health walks that takes place weekly. The location varies each week so please look at the time table.
A volunteer walk leader will support you in your walk. The walks take place in the parks and open spaces in the town and can venture onto grassy muddy areas. All you need to bring is suitable clothing for the weather and suitable secure footwear for walking in.
If it is your first walk, feel free to turn up 5 minutes early to meet the walk leader. You will need to complete a form at the start of the session.

3rd - Middleton St George - Meet in the car park Platform 1 pub formerly known as The Fighting Cocks
10th - Broken Scarr - Meet in the Picnic area car park
17th - Great Aycliffe Way - Meet at the railway station in Aycliffe (DL5 6QZ) Approx. 5 miles
24th - Low Coniscliffe - Meet at the layby just past The Baydale Beck pub
31st - Middleton One Row and Dinsdale - Meet at the Devonport. This walk is approx. 5 miles
7th - Sadberge and Barmpton - Meet at Sadberge village hall
14th - Middleton St George - Meet at the Platform pub car park
21st - Brafferton and Ketton County - Meet at the Village Hall in Brafferton 4 1/2 miles
28th - Brinkburn Reserve - Meet in the Brinkburn car park, Brinkburn Road
5th - Whinfield - Meet at the bottom of Glebe Road
12th - Hurworth - Meet at the Spa shop, on the corner of Roundhill Road. Parking is available further along the main street
19th - Low Coniscliffe - Meet in the layby just past The Baydale Beck pub
26th - Broken Scarr - Meet in the picnic area
