Getting active is one of the best things that you can do for your physical and mental health. As well as being great fun and helping you to stay fit and healthy, there are loads more benefits such as meeting new people, gaining self-confidence, and learning new skills.
We understand that getting active for the first time, or after a break, can be daunting, but we are here to help. There are lots of activities that are aimed at that those who want to take it easy to start with, and 1:1 support if you feel that would help.
If you look through our activity directory, you can search for activities or sessions, or simply see what is on near you, on when you are available to do something.
One You is a new campaign aimed at supporting you to live longer, healthier, more active lives, and there is a whole section devoted to moving your body more.
There is also a quiz, which is a great way to get started, as it will take you through what you do now, and suggest some ideas for where to start.
