Parking patrol

The civic enforcement team patrol car parks, street parking and residents’ parking. They will move motorists on if they are causing an obstruction and or issue Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) to any vehicle not parked correctly or not displaying a valid ticket.

In partnership with Durham Police Road Policing Unit, local parents, schools and councillors, we patrol schools in the borough at the start and the end of the school day. We aim to prevent nuisance and dangerous parking and to improve safety for children and parents at school drop off and collection.
