About the Councillor
I am currently Mayor of Darlington for the 2017/18 Municipal Year. I was originally elected to the Council in 2011 to represent the Central Ward. Following a Boundary Review, from the 2015 Local Elections, I was elected to represent the Stephenson Ward. I serve on the following Committees:
- Planning Applications Committee
- Health and Partnerships Scrutiny Committee (Vice-Chair)
- Tees Valley Joint Health Scrutiny Committee
- Joint Health Scrutiny Committee (Better Health Programme)
I also represent the Council at the following: Family Help Organisation
