Lifesaving equipment in Darlington
Residents and local organisations have partnered with Darlington Borough Council to install lifesaving cabinets across the town.
The council's community safety team looks after 35 cabinets in Darlington, including some in old telephone boxes. The cabinets are available 24 hours a day.
Each cabinet contains a defibrillator and a bleed kit. These can help save lives while people wait for emergency services to arrive.
People across Darlington have worked together to raise funds and bring lifesaving cabinets to their communities.
