Product description
A telescopic, 3.2m ladder

Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of injuries as the metal rungs bend and could collapse under repeated normal use. If the ladder were to collapse while in use, the user could fall and receive serious injuries.

As the ladder is over 3 metres it should be supplied with a stabilizer bar, which was missing. Additionally, when the locking mechanisms are released to collapse the ladder, the rungs fall with a force, posing a cutting hazard. The product requires improvements to marking and labelling.

The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
