Product description
The product is an electric infrared ceramic cooker
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire as the fuse within the plug has insufficient granular filler and does not meet the requirements of BS 1362. The filler is required to ensure the safe operation of the fuse under fault conditions, and its absence could lead to the plug overheating and/or exploding. There is also no evidence that the product has been assessed using relevant UK conformity assessment procedures as a valid Declaration of Conformity was not supplied.
This product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
