Black aquarium pump with plug

Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire because the cable has an insufficient cross-sectional area, which may cause it to overheat and ignite, causing a fire. The cable is also considered counterfeit.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.

Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users.

Owners are advised to stop using the product immediately and contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress.
